Social Media Strategist
Role Overview:
Impact Media is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Strategist to play a key role in developing and executing various social media strategies.
This individual will be responsible for curating engaging content, managing our various social media platforms, conducting thorough hashtag research, and supporting a range of other marketing and digital initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying or working in a digital marketing or related field to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to our various brand's online presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Curation: Discover, create, and curate compelling and relevant content (text, images, videos, etc.) that aligns with our brand voice and target audience across various social media platforms.

Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Hashtag Research: Conduct in-depth research to identify trending and relevant hashtags to maximise content reach and engagement.

Social Media Strategy Support: Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to achieve marketing objectives and enhance brand awareness.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse social media performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimisation.

Community Engagement: Foster and nurture online communities by engaging with followers, participating in relevant conversations, and building relationships with key influencers.

Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.

Miscellaneous Activities: Provide support on various digital marketing tasks, which may include competitor analysis, content calendar maintenance, reporting, and assisting with campaign execution.​
QUALIFICATIONS

Currently pursuing or holding a degree/diploma in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Preferred: Previous internship or work experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.

Strong understanding of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their respective best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

Creative and resourceful with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.

Proficient in basic social media analytics and reporting.

Familiarity with social media scheduling tools is an asset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.
